The 22nd edition of the Tilottama Gold Cup is starting today from Saturday.
Rupandehi-11 and Sudurpaschim 11 will compete in the opening match of the tournament organized by Rupandehi District Football Association.
Rupandehi District Football Association General Secretary Himal Gauchan informed that the opening of the competition under the patronage of Butwal sub-metropolitan city will be at 2 pm and the match will start at 3 pm.

Two temporary parafits with a capacity of 2,500 people have been prepared along with a permanent parafit with a capacity of 5,000 for watching the competition.
Ticket rates of 200 and 100 rupees have been fixed for watching the first round of matches.
Eight teams, including two departments, have participated in the competition, which was stopped for four years due to the Corona epidemic and financial shortage.
Under the captaincy of Jitesh Gurung, the Rupandehi 11 team has been prepared to play in the ‘A’ division and mixed with local players, said Mukesh Kunwar, manager and vice president of ANFA Rupandehi. Dipesh Thapa is the goalkeeper of the team coached by Pukar Gahatraj.
Due to the presence of experienced players in Sudurpaschim XI, Rupandehi is expected to challenge.

The winner of the competition will get a prize of 11 lakh 11 thousand 111 rupees and the runner-up will get a prize of 5 lakh 55 thousand 555 rupees.
General Secretary of Rupandehi District Football Association Himal Gauchan informed that Nepal Police, APF Club, Himalaya Sherpa, Three Star, Friends Club and Manang Marsyangdi Club will participate in the competition.
The final competition of the Gold Cup will be held on Chait 11th. The best player in the competition will get a prize of one lakh rupees or one motorcycle.
Similarly, the best forward, goalkeeper, midfielder, defense and coach will receive cash prizes at the rate of 30,000 each.
A prize of 11 thousand 111 rupees will also be awarded to the man of the match in each match.
Butwal sub-metropolitan city has decided to give 35 lakh rupees for the competition.
The title of the 21st edition in 2075 was won by the Dauphins Club of Cameroon.
Four years ago, the winner received a cash prize of 880,000 and the runner-up Nepal Police received a cash prize of 550,000.
The tournament, which was established by the then Butwal Nagar Panchayat in 2031 and started in 2033, has been conducted by the Rupandehi District Football Association for the past 23 years.
