Nepali Army’s Himal Tamata has won the title of the 3rd Liglig cycle race competition held at Palungtar in Gorkha.

He won the title by crossing the prescribed distance of 53 kilometers towards ‘Main Elite’ in 2 hours 24 minutes 27 seconds. He received a medal and a certificate along with a cash prize of 75,000.
He also participated in two previous competitions. He finished second in the first competition and fourth in the second competition, but this time he won the title.

Tamata, who hails from Kanchanpur Bara, is also a gold medalist in the 13th SAFF Games.
