On Tuesday afternoon, a 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck Bajura.

The earthquake struck Bajura at 2:43 p.m., according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center.

The earthquake shook Karnali and Lumbini, as well as Sudurpaschim Province.

The earthquake was felt as far out as the Indian capital, New Delhi, according to Indian media.
