Dr. Santosh Paudel, the newly appointed executive director of Bir Hospital, has stated that a burn ward will be operational within three months.
Bir Hospital to operate Burn ward
After the 2015 earthquake demolished the building housing the hospital’s burn ward, services for burn patients were discontinued. During the next three months, we will open a burn ward with an intensive care unit and a surgical room, said Dr. Paudel. The hospital’s burn unit will be housed in the new facility.
Friday marked the appointment of Dr. Paudel as the new Executive Director of the institution.
