Former national football team captain Biraj Maharjan has returned to the Three Star Club for this season’s Shaheed Smarak A Division League.
Veteran defender Biraj, who retired from the national team last year, played in the league with Chasal Youth Club. Before that, Biraj, who played for Machchindra and Manang Marsyangdi, played for seven years before going to Manang for Three Star.
He signed a contract with Three Star Club again on Friday and said that Three Star has a special importance in his career and will always remain so. Biraj said that he felt proud to return to the club and said that he is committed to fulfill his responsibilities and will work hard for it.
