Canadian National apprehended at TIA with 9 kg of gold in possession.
The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Customs Office in Kathmandu arrested Canadian national Mohammad Kamal Mahagob, 35, during a security screening. He was found to be carrying 9 kg of gold from the United Arab Emirates and arrived in Kathmandu via Fly Dubai F-2573. The Office Chief, Arun Pokharel, stated that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
