Champions League quarter-finals Draw: The 2022/23 Champions League has progressed to the next stage, with only eight teams remaining in Europe’s elite club competition and the lineup for the quarter-final draw confirmed.
Chelsea defeated Borussia Dortmund in the second leg at Stamford Bridge. They reached the quarter-finals last year as well, but were defeated by eventual winners Real Madrid.
In other news, Benfica easily defeated Club Brugge in the second leg, winning 5-1 (7-1 agg). For the first time this century, the Portuguese team advances to the quarter-finals on consecutive days.

Manchester City also thrashed RB Leipzig, with Erling Haaland scoring five goals to become the tournament’s leading scorer this season.
Napoli also breezed through, defeating Frankfurt 3-0 in the second leg (5-0 aggregate), thanks to two goals from Victor Osimhen.

The eight teams will be drawn from a hat in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday, March 17, at an undetermined time.
Any team could face any other team in the draw. There are no seedings or geographical restrictions at this point, so anything is possible.

The first team drawn in each tie will play at home first, followed by the second team in the return leg.
