The online software, developed by OpenAI, has already been causing a stir in the market with its human-like responses and even posing a threat to Google. The latest data suggests that its upward trajectory of popularity and growth will continue for some time.
Finbold’s data reveals that a Google search for the term “ChatGPT” reached a popularity score of 92 on January 13. The OpenAI-created program reached its peak score of 100 for the week ending January 11. On November 30, 2022, its popularity score was just 1, the day it first made a splash in the market.
In just over two months since its launch, ChatGPT has experienced a remarkable rise to fame, with certain markets contributing to its growth even more. According to the data, China had the highest score of 100 for the keyword “ChatGPT” search interest on Google as of January 13. Nepal followed close behind with a score of 35, while Norway ranked third with a score of 28. Singapore and Israel rounded out the top five with scores of 27 and 26, respectively.
