Three people, including the driver, were killed in an accident involving a vehicle carrying cooking gas cylinders this morning in Talpokhari of Guras Rural Municipality-4 in Dailekh.

Three people died in the truck collision, according to the District Police Office Dailekh (Bhe 1 Ka 2201). Around 9:00 am today, it fell about 150 meters off the road while traveling from Nepalgunj to Dailekh.

Driver Krishna Chaudhary, 29, of Banke, and two other people—Bishnu Chaudhary, 18, and Lachhiram Chaudhary, 27, of Dang—have been identified as the deceased. They passed away instantly. The collision was allegedly caused by braking failure.

Prakash Kumai, 28, of Kupindedaha Rural Municipality-7 in Salyan, was able to leap from the bus when the driver told him that the brakes had failed, saving his life.
