Today, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is set to visit the Kanchanpur district, where he will see the projected Dodhara Chandani dry port and the under-construction Mahakali corridor.

Gopal Prasad Aryal, the chief district officer (CDO) of Kanchanpur, stated that the prime minister is planning to see the dry port, the under-construction four-lane motorable bridge over the Mahakali River, and the Mahakali corridor.
Similarly, Prime Minister Dahal is slated to open a tourist festival in Mahendranagar on Monday afternoon, which is being organized by the Kanchanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
In addition, the Prime Minister, who is also the Chairman of the Maoist Centre, is attending an event commemorating “People’s War Day.”
Dinesh Malla, senior vice chairman of the Kanchanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries, stated that the tourist festival is being hosted here following the COVID-19 epidemic in an effort to encourage industrial and commercial activity in the region.
As many as 100,000 people are anticipated to attend the festival, and 50 million rupees in revenue is anticipated.
According to Malla, the festival aims to promote local goods, tourism, and arts and culture.
