The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that a 7.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in New Zealand’s Kermadec Island.
This morning, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 7.1 magnitude and a tsunami warning was issued, according to news agency Reuters.
Caution has been taken in New Zealand and Toga region as tsunami can cause damage.

Earlier in August 2075, an earthquake of 6.9 magnitude occurred in Kermadec Island. New Zealand is also known as a country plagued by natural disasters such as earthquakes and volcanoes.
