The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Jaya prakash Dutta, has been suspended by the university.
Dutt was suspended after a video of him engaging in unethical behavior with a female employee during a Zoom meeting was published.
A video of a him sitting on his own chair in the working room of the Dean’s office and acting immorally with a female employee was released during a Zoom meeting held last Tuesday. After two such videos were published, the university said that Dutt was suspended and an inquiry committee was formed.

Punya Regmi, the vice-chancellor of the university informed that a three-member investigation committee has been formed after suspending Dutt. An inquiry committee has been formed under the coordination of university professor Dr. Shravan Kumar Sah, with Prof. Dr. Durga Devkota and Prof. Narayanaraj Joshi as members.
He said that a committee has been formed to submit a report within fifteen days. The university has submitted a letter of suspension to Dean Dutt. It is said that Dean Dutt was suspended after being pressured from all sides to take immediate action.
