In a devastating incident in Jumla, a 14-year-old girl named Bandana Bhandari lost her life in a fire that broke out at Chandannath Municipality-1 last night. The daughter of Lok Bahadur Bhandari, a resident of Thinke in the municipality, was unable to escape the flames.

According to the District Police Office in Jumla, the fire was eventually brought under control with the combined efforts of the fire brigade, security personnel, and local residents. The inferno also claimed the three-storied building of Lok Bahadur.

An investigation has been launched by the police to determine the cause of the fire. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the bereaved family during this difficult time.
