An 18-month-old boy died after being hit by a tractor in Kailali. On Monday evening, Tanbir Ansari’s 18-month-old son Harish died when he was hit by a tractor numbered Sudurpaschim Province 01-002 and 6484 in Block No. 7 of Tikapur Municipality-1 of the district, police said.

According to Sudurpaschim Province Traffic Police Office, Attaria, the driver, 45-year-old Parshuram Chaudhary, resident of Tikapur Municipality-2, hit the child while taking the tractor out of the house of local Alias Ansari. A child who was seriously injured in a tractor collision died in Tikapur Hospital during treatment.
The driver and the tractor have been taken into custody by the Tikapur area police office.
