During this morning’s early hours, devotees congregated at the Pashupati Temple in Kathmandu. On this day of Mahashivaratri, all four of the main doors have been left open so that pilgrims may see them from three in the morning.

In the Pashupatinath Temple are sadhus who have traveled from various regions of India and Nepal. They do receive financial aid and alms from the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT).
On the day of Maha Shivratri, which occurs on Krishna Chaturdashi, devotees swarm the numerous shivalayas. To honor Lord Shiva, the Shiva pooja is done at several Shiva temples, including Haleshi and Devghat.
According to the PADT, special accommodations have been arranged to allow worshippers to visit the Pashupatinath shrine.
