Manoj Hitanga, a journalist from Rupandehi, died in a road accident at Milan Chowk in Butwal.
At around 11:30 pm on Saturday night, Hitanga, who was going to the hospital line from Milan Chowk in Butwal on a motorcycle number LU 8 PA 9068, was hit by a Mahakali Transport bus number 07-02-001 KHA 1226 coming from the opposite direction near the bus park.
Hitanga, who was injured in the bus collision, died during treatment at the Lumbini Provincial Hospital.

Hitanga was working as a correspondent in the Lumbini regional office of NNTV.
Hitanga, a permanent resident of Palpa’s Tansen municipality, had been living in Butwal’s Buddhanagar for about 15 years.
