Construction of the new Modi (Parvat)-Lekhnath (Kaski) transmission line has been completed. Under the new Modi-Lekhnath transmission line project, 43 km of 132 KV double circuit transmission line and 132 KV switching station in Modi Rural Municipality-2 Deupur, 132 KV Lahachok substation in Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-4 of Kaski and 132 KV line may have been constructed in the switchyard of Lekhnath substation.
Modi-Lekhnath Construction
The new Modi-Lekhnath transmission line project has been constructed to improve the power supply of Parvat, Kaski, and other districts and for the flow of hydropower projects to be built on the Modi, Seti, Madi, and Sardi rivers to the national electricity system.
Under the project, the 132 KV transmission line from the switching station at Deupur, Modi Rural Municipality-2 of Parbat to Lahachok and the Lahachok substation were completed and put into operation in March of last year.
Kulman Ghising, Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority informed that the construction of the Lahachok-Lekhnath section transmission line has been completed and the new Modi-Lekhnath 132 kV transmission line has been completed.
