This is the day for the presidential election (Thursday).
According to the Electoral Commission, all election-related preparations have been completed (EC).
Mahesh Sharma Paudel, the election officer, stated that all technical, human resource, and administrative preparations have been finished in anticipation of the vote for the President-elect to be conducted at Lhotse Hall of the Parliament Building in New Baneshwar.

The Hall has been divided into two distinct voting areas for members of the Provincial Assembly and federal legislators. According to Paudel, crews were mobilized together with the election officers to build the voting places.
From 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, voting will take place. Ram Chandra Poudel, a prominent member of the Nepali Congress, and Subash Chandra Nembang, vice chair of the CPN (UML), are contenders for the position of president.
The voters in the presidential election are 550 members of provincial assemblies and 332 members of the federal parliament.
For the vote, there will be separate lines for men and women. For the voters’ and media personnel’s relaxation, separate tents have been set up.
A member of the Provincial Assembly’s vote has a weight of 48 whereas a member of the federal parliament’s vote carries a weight of 79.

The counting of ballots will begin when the voting is finished at 3:00 pm, according to the Office of the Election Officer, and the results will be made public by 7:00 pm.
Legislators have already landed in Kathmandu for the election from every region.
