Nepal has been chosen as the host country for the first round of Women’s Olympic Football Asian Qualifiers for the Paris Olympics in 2024.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) confirmed Nepal as the host of Group C, which includes Vietnam, Palestine, and Afghanistan.
However, Palestine has withdrawn from the tournament, leaving Nepal to face only Vietnam and Afghanistan. The matches will be held between April 3 and 11.

The winner of Group C will advance to the second round, which will feature North Korea, Australia, China, Japan, and South Korea. The teams will be divided into three groups, with the winner of each group and the best runner-up progressing to the third round.
The top two teams from the third round will secure their place in the Paris Olympics 2024. To prepare for the Qualifiers, Nepal played two friendlies against India, drawing the first match 2-2 on February 15 and playing out a goalless draw in the second match on February 18.
