Nepal has defeated Scotland in the one-day international (ODI) triangular series that is now taking place in Kirtipur, Kathmandu. Nepal won the match by three wickets and had 18 balls left to spare.
Nepal reached the mark in 47 overs, despite losing seven wickets along the way. The score was set by Scotland.
On Friday, Dipendra Singh Airee and Kushal Malla both scored 81 runs to become Nepal’s best scorers. Airee scored 85 runs.
Previously, Kushal had beaten the record of Sachin Tendulkar’s youngest half-century by striking a fifty against the United States of America in Kathmandu during the ICC World League 2 tournament.
Kushal struck a half-century against Scotland during the match that is now taking place at the TU Cricket Field in Kirtipur. This achievement came after nine innings of play in the same competition.
