With the help of opener Kushal Bhurtel’s century, captain Rohit Kumar Paudel’s strong support, and Karan KC’s 5 wickets, Nepal won a record 2-wicket win over Namibia.
Nepal’s record win against Namibia
In the first match of the triangular series of the ICC Cricket World Cup League Two, Namibia set a target of 286 runs to the home team on Tuesday. With the help of Bhurtel’s 115 runs, Nepal won by 8 wickets in 47.4 overs.
This is the biggest score made by Nepal in ODI so far. Earlier in 2019, Nepal had won by completing the target of 255 runs against UAE and tied the score after chasing the target of 275 runs against the USA in June.
Chasing a target of 293 runs against Papua New Guinea at the Trivi Cricket Ground, Kirtipur last year, Nepal was defeated after scoring 286 runs.
