Paul Shah, who has been in Tanahun jail for a year, will be released today. Artist Shah is going to leave today after Pokhara High Court acquitted him against the decision of Nawalpur district court on Sunday.

In Paul’s appeal against the decision of the Nawalpur District Court, the High Court of Pokhara held that the prosecution claim was not sufficient. The joint bench of judges Dilliraj Acharya and Sridharakumari Pudasaini in Pokhara High Court ruled that the claim against him is not sufficient.
The Nawalpur District Court convicted Shah of child sexual abuse and sentenced him to 2 and a half years in prison. He went to the high court against it.

Earlier, he was acquitted by Tanahun district court. He was arrested last year for raping a minor. The accused girl filed a letter in the court saying that there was a false case against Shah.
According to the Tanahun Jail administration, Shah will be released from the Tanahun District Court today after undergoing a health check-up with the order of the High Court.
