Proposed name of Province 1
According to CPN-UML chief whip Revathiraman Bhandari, there is a possibility that the issue of the name will be entered in the provincial assembly today.
He said that if there is an agreement between the parties, the issue of the name will be formally introduced today. “Informal discussions are going on between the parties, there is a meeting of the Parliament’s Working Arrangements Consultative Committee this afternoon,” he said.

According to him, party leaders in the province have been in informal discussions for two weeks. He said that it was agreed to finalize the name soon after the discussion.
Indra Bahadur Angbo, leader of the Maoist Center Parliamentary Party, said that there is a possibility that the issue of the name will get admission.
Although the parties agree on the finalization of the name, there is a difference of opinion on what name to propose. The discussion between the parties is focused on Kosi and Kirant’s names.
After the formation of a new political equation for the presidential election, Chief Minister Hikmat Karki has done his homework to make a name for himself under his leadership. Earlier, Prime Minister Prachanda had expressed interest in the delay in naming the province during his meeting with Chief Minister Karki in Baluwatar.
