Actress Priyanka Karki has been nominated to the Jury Committee of the Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF). The organizers of the festival issued a statement on Thursday and informed that Indralal Balami of Maya Academy along with Karki was selected as the jury.

NIF is being held in Kathmandu from the 2nd to the 6th of Chait (March 16-20). Festival president KP Pathak informed that out of the total five jurors, the remaining three will be foreign filmmakers. Priyanka is a jury member for the feature and Balami has been nominated for the documentary jury committee.
Actress Karki has acted in dozens of films and Balami is the founder of Maya Animation Academy.

This year, 14 awards will be distributed in seven categories out of 95 long, short, documentary, and animated films from 35 countries that have been selected for ‘NIFF’ and reached the second stage. More than a dozen creative programs (seminars, interactions) will also be organized at NIFF.
