Ram Chandra Paudel, a candidate for the Nepali Congress (NC), has filed his paperwork to run for president.
On Saturday afternoon, NC senior leader Paudel traveled to the Baneshwar poll officer’s office and registered to run.
Together with many others, he was joined by NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and Madhav Kumar Nepal of the CPN-Unified Socialists.

Eight organizations made the decision to endorse the NC presidential candidate, including the Maoist Center, the Unified Socialist Party, the Janata Samajbadi Party, and the Nepal Samajbadi Party.
