In Chitwan’s Nawalpur region of the Chitwan National Park, a mature male rhinoceros was discovered dead.
The 20-year-old animal was reportedly discovered dead close to the Sehari Post in the Amaltari region of the park in Nawalpur of Nawalparasi, which is located east of the Bardghat Susta.
Ganesh Prasad Tiwari, a conservation and information officer for the CNP, said that a patrol team discovered the animal’s dead carcass on Wednesday.

It could have been murdered in a quarrel between two people.
The animal’s horn and hooves are still present. With this, there have already been 13 rhino deaths in the CNP this fiscal year.
Two of the 13 fatalities were caused by poaching. The Rhino Census-2077 states that CNP is home to 694 rhinoceros.
