Today is the day for the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) central committee and parliamentary party to convene.
A leader announced that a meeting will be conducted at the party’s headquarters in Dhumbarahi at 3 o’clock to discuss the political climate at the moment and plans for the by-election in Chitwan Region No. 2. The party’s nominee for Chitwan Constituency No. 2 will be chosen during this meeting.
Previously, Rabi Lamichhane, the party’s president, was chosen from that region. But since the court ruled to remove the MP from office owing to the citizenship issue, by-elections are going to take place.
By-elections for Chitwan Region No. 2 will take place on April 23 as a result of a decision made by the Election Commission.
