Supermai Hydropower Limited opened the Initial Public Offering (IPO) sale of securities on Monday, February 6.
The company is going to issue the IPO for the general public after obtaining labor approval from the local residents of the project-affected areas and the relevant agencies of the Nepalese government and distributing the IPO to the Nepalis who are employed abroad.

The company had received approval from the Nepal Securities Board to issue 500,000 shares. Out of which 10 percent ie 50,000 Nepalese are employed abroad.
Similarly, 25,000 shares were reserved for collective investment funds and 10,000 shares were reserved for the company’s employees, and the remaining 4,15,000 ordinary shares were opened for sale to the general public.
