At 2:30 this morning, four people were killed in a car crash in Birendranagar Municipality-11, Surkhet.

The District Police Office in Surkhet identified the victims as Rajendra BC, 36, of Guras Rural Municipality-3, Babin Shahi, 31, of Bhagawatimai Rural Municipality-5, and Sagar Shahi, 27. Both Dipendra Jung Shahi and Babin Shahi were from the Dailekh district, and both Sagar and Rajendra were from the Birendranagar Municipality-7.
The four victims of the traffic accident all passed away while being treated at the Karnali Province Hospital.

Ba Pra 01026 Cha 9213 was traveling from Chhinchu to Surkhet when it skidded off the road and crashed 80 feet below. Twenty-five-year-old Birendra Raj Shahi from Dailekh district’s Bhairabi Rural Municipality-5 was critically injured in the collision.
The police say that Shahi is currently receiving care at the Karnali Province Hospital in Surkhet.
