Sita Air made a test flight at Tarigaun airport in Dang’s Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-12. Sita Air’s 19-seater aircraft, A-AJH, arrived at the airport.
Tarigaun Airport: Test flight conducted
The plane’s landing from both the west and east sides was tested. Captain Rabindra Dangol, who conducted the test flight, stated that landing the plane from both sides was simple.
Dangol stated that certain tall trees, water tanks, and increasing bird activity are anticipated to offer take-off and landing issues at the airport, which must be handled.
Sita Air’s Rajendra Bahadur Singh stated that regular flights will begin only until a thorough report on the test flight is received.
Tikaram Khadka, mayor of Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city, stated that regular flights will eliminate the need to travel to Nepalgunj and Bhairahawa for flights.
Nepal Airlines Corporation now operates four flights each week to Tulsipur.
At the Tarigaon airport, a fuel depot has also been created. With the operation of private airlines, fares are likely to fall.
Meanwhile, work is being done to extend the existing runway, which is 750 meters long and 30 meters broad.
