The Thamichhowa Football Club has won the 13th edition of the “Khumbu Lhosar Cup,” the Sherpa community’s premier sporting event. Saturday’s championship game was won by Thamichhowa Football Club with a 3-1 victory against Namche Yuva Club.
Khumbu Lhosar Cup Completed
The Thamichhowa Club has been awarded a trophy, a medal, and 1 lakh rupees.
Namche Youth Club has achieved the position of second. Namche Youth Club has gotten a medal and $50,000 in cash.

Amadablam beat Juving Sherpa Kudik Club in the match for third place and finished in that position. Amadblum beat Juving Sherpa Club by a score of 2-0.
The Amadalam Youth Club has been awarded a medal and $25,000 in cash.
On the occasion of the Sherpa New Year and Lhosar celebration, the Khumjung Youth Club has been annually staging the “Khumbu Lhosar Cup.”
The “Khumbu Lhosar Cup” began last weekend.
At the competition held at the Sano Gaucharan Sports Field in Kathmandu, eight teams participated.
