The parliament of the African country of Uganda has enacted a law that criminalizes homosexuality and transsexuality and imprisoning them.

Same-sex relationships are illegal in 30 African countries, including Uganda.

But with the new law made by Uganda, sexual minorities can be considered criminals and imprisoned for years based on their gender identity.

According to the international media, this law provides for the death penalty for violent homosexuals.

According to the law passed by the Parliament, those who know about same-sex relationships have to file a complaint.

The law passed by the parliament has been sent to President Museveni of Uganda for his signature. This law will come into effect after he signs it.

The President of Uganda also has the special right to prevent the implementation of laws passed by the Parliament without his signature.
